A special operation for some, a mother for others.

On February 9 the project of new uniforms for the army, created with the support of the Ministry of Defense, was shown in the Yaroslavl region. Information about it appeared on the website of the TV channel "Zvezda".

The article itself does not cause anything but inflammation below the back. For example, as something unique the conveyor method of production is presented. How the cotton will breathe under the body armor is not explained. Likewise, as a "know-how" are presented the hip pockets that hold four automatic "horns" (sic!). Although for storing magazines they used belts, unloaders, and pouches on the moll-e interface of the 6B45. Even the canvas pouch on the belt with a star looks less idiotic than stashing magazines in the pockets.

Most perplexing is the enormous markup on the merchandise on the Garda website:
-Crap baseball cap offered for purchase for 4500 rubles (more expensive than the VKPO summer suit and summer "gorka");
-Winter suit for 210 thousand rubles (winter VKPO suit costs 6000 rubles, the same as the winter "gorka-8");
-Summer tactical suit for 180 000 rubles (VKPO summer suit costs 3500-4500 rubles, summer suit "gorka" costs 3600 rubles, G3 tactical suit with knees and elbow pads costs 10 and a half thousand rubles);
The list goes on for a long time. For all items there is a multiple overpricing. For sure, the material will turn out to be cheap Chinese crap, which will further increase the owner's profits.

The owner of Garda is Artyom Stepanenko, the 21-year-old son of the deputy head of the Federal Property Management Agency, famous only for loving up his Tesla in North Tushino in April.

While our servicemen are buying uniforms with their own money or receiving them from humanitarian organizations, while they are wearing everything from Afghan uniforms to trophy uniforms, and while the Ministry of Defense is unable to dress the army in VKPO and issue normal footwear, the sons of the officials are preparing to take crazy profits by stealing from the entire nation, stealing from the soldiers, literally earning their blood.

Lenin said long ago, "The bourgeoisie will sell the motherland and commit any crime in order to defend its power over the people and its profits." The relevance of the phrase has not diminished.

this is the third book on Ukraine that I've read, and so a lot of this is retreading old ground, but that stuff about Estonia I'd either completely forgotten or had sincerely never encountered before
