I had one of those last week who got stuck in front of the plant managers office trying to shortcut across the front lawn and then tried to pull it out with another forklift, and then two hours later we finally found both forklifts and called a rollback

For people that haven't had hands-on experience, forklifts are almost always filled with a ton of lead, either in the form of enormous batteries or just straight up ballast, and most weigh far more than cars. On top of that, a lot of them meant for indoor use have less ground clearance than a dachshund

I've had a bunch of certifications for years and just renewed my fork and lift certs and. . .my cards came in with my last name wrong. It's fairly close (and also a real name) and has my union and local listed so I'm not super concerned but, is this an issue? In my 12 years with this local I don't think I've ever had anyone ask to see my cards, just whether or not I'm certified.

I'm sorry but you will have to hand over all your forklift themed t-shirts until you have an accurate forklift certification with your full correct name on it

If you don’t fix that certification card the forklift will explode once you turn it on.
