HSF got about 100 more chapters than I thought it would, but still really bummed about this!!! I will say that right now the manga i catch up on full stop every release and don't leave any back chapters included HSF!! It had a good run, and the author was really good at putting together a flow to the gags and a build-up to a punchline that I don't think Roboco, Ichigoki or even Witch Watch ever got close to.

Reason being it felt a little…errr too far progressed I guess? It’s a little hard to gauge exactly where Ashigi is on his feelings regarding 100. He keeps saying he thinks x, but we keep seeing y. I feel like we could use a little extra insight into him like we had at the end. But other than that a fine chapter. I wonder what they’re planning.

Fabricant 100: It feels like we’re supposed to see the leader of Mortsafe as ruthless for letting Roxy die, but…in the first place, this was really more bad luck than the results of a decision (if, e.g., Asibi hadn’t been scratched, 100 would have taken out the Fabricant without Roxy dying), and in the second place, what would they have done if Roxy survived, just let her go even though she murdered a bunch of people? I guess we don’t know much about this setting’s criminal justice system and the relationship between Mortsafe and the official authorities; could they have handed her over to the police, and if so, would she have been executed?

It is a manga about codes and cyphers that regularly uses quirks of Japanese language and writing. I wouldn't be surprised if they ultimately drop the English translation if it becomes too difficult for a series with a limited appeal.

It's interesting to have a series where it's genuinely unclear which characters are trustworthy, and where the main character is a well-meaning guy in over his head rather than being particularly innately special.

Honestly I think the issue is probably the weekly release schedule, that's probably hell on any translator who has a bunch of other series to work on at the same time. Since Witch Watch is now at the end of October I assume that the big warlock fight is hitting in chapter 100. Also with all the stuff about the Warlock switch being discussed I wonder if we're going to see Nico bringing someone back (shown with the gem switching from black to white.)
