I made only one mod ever in Morrowind. It was just plopping a powerful weapon down in a house that I was nearby at the time. Thanks to Morrowind combat, it was still useless to me, but still, modded it.

Oh cool, found the Morrowind thread - I misremembered and was looking in the agile development thread instead. I started playing it again thanks to the talk in here, and it's a good nostalgia hit. The combat seems fine to me and i haven't encountered cliff racers yet. Not using mods either because i didn't back in the day.

Especially if you played vanilla, picked primary skills you use a lot so you level faster while your secondary skills got left behind, and focused on the main quest that has poo poo for good loot. It set your experience up to be as ugly as a randomly-generated character.
