I've been having a lot of fun with my Cage deck I can see some advantage to saving hazmat for turn 6, but I'd still rather have Wong/Odin/Crusher available, one dose of her is a bit anemic.

Even running Wanda I’ll still sometimes not draw her when I need to change dream dimension. You also get to end Limbos. It’s a great counter for turn 7 greed.

I've been mostly running a Sara Control deck for the last couple months, and I think the reason Scarlet Witch is so useful is because of how much the deck relies on filling most or all of the available slots on the board, so being able to zap a location that restricts playing cards in some way is really helpful. It can also be used as part of the last turn surprise by doing something like dropping it on a location that you filled that is subtracting power from every card (obviously a gamble, but it's swung a few games for me). And, like JackDarko said, Dream Dimension is a killer and needs to be taken out of play.

One of these days I'll remember that Magik not only makes it a 7 turn game, she does so by changing one of the locations  Stacked all my big cards on what I thought was still the Nexus (your power here is granted to the other locations) and took way too long to figure out how I still lost

Absolutely nothing is working for me and it sucks poo poo. All my decks feel bad right now and I have no idea what my pocket meta even is. If I was getting even a couple wins here and there I'd be like "ok, I can deal with this" but it's like every game my opponent goes in and says "i'm gonna gently caress you up so loving hard." Just retreating left and right all day and the games I don't retreat, I get absolutely walloped by bad luck.

I didnt realize KANG THE CONQUEROR was coming out in 4 days. He may be perma-S5 (devs have said they're debating it) so he might actually exist on ladder. I think he's actually going to be kind of strong and frustrating because taking 4/8 cubes off a kang runner will be so dang hard. Cosmo him tho and lol. lmao. Matchmaking is extremely hosed in this game. Switched back to an old zero/shehulk/infinaut deck and have also mirrored 3 times while clearing 6 quests. Then went to casino ramp deck and mirrored card for card the first game. Absolutely bonkers poo poo.

This game hands down makes me feel the absolute worse on losing streaks and ive been playing competitive (sports) games my whole life. It feels like the game works against you when youre crashing. You dont draw cards, the locations are trash, your opponent either plays the perfect card(s) to counter you or you dont draw your counter that would likely win you the game. I guess because most games I play rely more on skill than this one. Skill is involved but there is way more RNG that needs to be neutral or go your way

So, that didn't suck. Completed a season pass mission last night, got Coulson. Finished up my dailies, got Rescue. Just 8 pool 3 cards to go, I may spend those 1k tokens on the pinned Kingpin but I'm waiting for him to show up in a collection. Edit: woops, I must have unpinned him now Ghost is in the shop for 6k.

Unless you have a deck right now it would slot into, don't use 6k tokens on a card that's not Thanos or Galactus. If you don't have pool 3 complete, it's probably a good idea not to buy any pool 4 cards either (unless you absolutely have a deck to slot it into) because those will drop to pool 3 in a month.

yeah, i'd just save up tokens and spend them on either cards that you'd want to immediately play with or cards that are never coming out of series 5 i pinned shuri and just got her yesterday b/c i figure if i waited to get her naturally she'd be nerfed by that time

I'm here to anti-complain about Shuri. I picked her up in a box randomly, and she's definitely eased up my game. I don't really love Shuri decks and think they're actually quite boring, but it is nice to play something non-Control oriented.

As far as I can tell shuri is just supposed to be overpowered and at some point they'll intentionally shift the meta by nerfing her. I'm not even bitter about it I only managed to rank up by countering the hell out of her and farming her rear end. But getting shang chi to a 40% (!) usage rate while shuri STILL stays a top winrate deck is some sort of game design decision I just don't understand yet.
