I don't think they'll announce BW remakes this early. They've been doing remakes in alternate generations for a while now. They will definitely announce SV DLC though

They've done one remake per console generation. I expect to see today sv dlc, maybe a new mythical, home update, and, of course, pokemon sleep.

But yeah, come to think of it I don’t believe we’ve ever had two remakes on the same console before unless you want to count Let’s Go which is both a remake of and a pseudo sequel to (despite following almost the exact same plot beats) Gen 1

Then again I'm a Pokemon oldtimer who still thinks gen 2 is the best so  . Gens 5-7 were a span of time where my interest in Pokemon had dipped pretty severely, with gen 7 re-awakening my interest.

drat, that is a jacked up fuckin' Suicune. Meanwhile I didn't even notice there was anything different about the Virizion at first. The DLCs being school trips are a perfect use of the setting, that's awesome. (Although I admit I was intially concerned they were just jumping straight to another Legends game)

This was my first Pikemon direct and I had no idea how much weird stuff other than the mainline games there is out there. Holy moly. Wish we had gotten more infos on the SV DLC and what it means for postgame content but oh well.

I’m glad they didn’t announce Gen V remakes. I don’t want them attempting it on current Switch hardware. GameFreak can barely get a barren field running at a stable frame rate, they won’t be able to handle a bustling city.

I mostly internalized parts of the first one, which seems to be going for a Japanese festival vibe. Legendary is a Marshadow-looking imp guy with a mask, and the newly returning Pokemon includes Milotic.
