W Corp Don's third skill is her big charge spender attack, so without that her building up charge with her other attacks is pointless. Finished the first dungeon. I like the "end of episode" credits and the character song! Good way to wrap it up. Got to say, though, (end of dungeon story spoilers) Yuri had so many death flags that I was sure she'd walk out of it just fine, but I guess that trick only works for characters more central to the cast. The big and small abnormality fights feel like the actual combat system, and I like it much more than the "just chain colors" random battles. I also appreciate the dungeons letting you pick different sinners for every fight, even if I don't actually need to do that yet. Dungeons are cool! I also appreciate that story progress seems to automatically upgrade the levels and basic EGOs of characters, rather than you having to spend resources on that. (Though I'd be surprised if the basic identities are actually worth using, even when they're eventually maxed.)

It's impossible to reroll on your Steam account, and since you get 50 rolls to start with rerolling is extremely powerful, especially with how quick and easy it is. Takes literally a minute to reroll an account. Just make sure to use those 10 roll tickets before you start rolling on the beginner banner, since there's a bug that causes it to eat them AND your Lunacy if they're in your inventory when you roll it.  Or, better yet, don't pick up the tickets at all until you're done with the beginner gacha.

I spent lunacy on the starter banner and then my free tickets, and have enough 000s to field a full team of five, so im just gonna bank the rest of my lunacy for stronger banners btw remember to go back into completed chapters and claim the lunacy rewards, including the prologue!

I played up until the first boss and love the game so far. My only complaint is that it was way too hard to target body parts on my phone. Zooming in doesn't help because the camera resets when you try to select the skills.

I think I've basically twigged onto the flow of the game, so it's going to be interesting trying to explain it all in understandable english for people to pick up properly. .....I got absolutely no LP work done tonight, though. We all saw that coming but it should be the only night I lose entirely to Limble Crimble.

If you’re colorblind, the upper-right part of the skill icon also is different according to what type it is, too.

Merging accounts between mobile and Steam works, it's just gotten flipped around. You get two codes when you merge accounts, UID and Account Merger Code. Enter the UID in the box for the Account merger code and vice versa, and it'll ask you which account you want to overwrite.

I managed to get through the first chapter and partway through the second before making the calculated decision to go to bed because it was 2 AM. I'm enjoying it so far. Hong Lu's being shockingly funny right now. The only 'shared' Identities I have so far are Liu Meursault and Gregor, and while I've fielded them together I can't really say they have super amazing Burn synergy yet. Would anyone say that the same Identity on different Sinners work well together for other groups, like a Kurokumo Ryoshu/Hong Lu/Rodion team, or a WARP Faust/Don/Meursault team, or a Shi Don/Heathcliff/Ishmael team, etc?

Okay, so, finally ran into a combat where I couldn't win by just rushing them (the 3 wave fight against the TingTang Boss). I found that if you are probably going to lose the clash or are under fire from too many sources, that's when you should either pull out the big guns (EGO) or just use the defend command. Also, Don is acting exactly like I expected her to. She's not an old man anymore, she's a fit woman with a big weapon so she's hurting people according to her delusions. I noticed there's an item as compensation for server maintenance in the inbox, with the statement "1 days left". If I claim them, then reroll today, will the new guest account get the reward again, or should I make sure I'm happy with what I have first before claiming them? I'm new to this genre, and it feels like a lot of interface kind of assumes you already know how gacha games work

Managed to get G Corp Gregor/TingTang HongLu/Reindeer Ishmael in the pulls which is a lot of 000 identities but not sure if to go for the next.

Kurokumo Hong Lu just shot up quite a bit after upgrading him to T2-his cyan skill gets a modifier where he'll reuse it/double it's hits if the target has no Bleed, which can let him output some really good damage.

So there's 50 rolls total: 20 for the server maintenance apology in the inbox, which ends today 20 for the tutorial 5 from the launch rewards in the inbox 5 for going to Drive, going back to the prologue, and picking up the lunacy rewards on the top of the screen The odds of getting an EGO is 1.3%, and the odds of getting an 000 Identity is 2.9%. So I guess this means that as long as we get at least 3 of them, we're getting better than expected value I ended up rolling 3 EGO and 1 000. The fact that the UI has slots for all the LC abnormality danger levels and all current EGO is TETH/HE makes me assume that these will get outclassed in the future, but I guess that's also possible with identities. The fine print says that you can't get duplicate ego, so the odds of getting a specific EGO goes up as you exhaust the pool. And I haven't even started playing the game yet

I did not expect Limbus to be PM's FUNNIEST game so far. Between Sinclair's "Go white boy, go" dance and now Ryoshu's bleeped out lesson in gruesome, Chapter 2 is making me laugh my head off.

I'm most of the way through Chapter 2. I've been burning a lot of my Shards from pulling on trading for Threads, since I figure that getting to the Mirror Dungeon ASAP so I can grind them is probably worth it long-term. (And if not I'm sure I'll only find out too late to feel bad about the mistake.  ) Haven't pulled any EGO, but I've gotten five three-stars plus the free pre-reg one. The big standouts for me so far in the three-stars I have are Hong Lu's Tingtang Gangleader and Heathcliff's R Corp 4th Pack Rabbit.Hong Lu's is the first I've Uptied to max. His Shank and Mutilate both focus on taking out enemies that are at low HP, with Shank repeating its last hit on an enemy that's below 25% at the end of the attack and Mutilate repeating if it kills (though sadly the copy doesn't seem able to copy itself, ala Overrun); Shank's also good for clashes, having three coins and high values. Mutilate's a bit swingy, since it gets +25 to the value if it wins the coin flip, but since coin flips are influenced by sanity, you just want to wait to use it until your SP's high and to be careful when you use EGO. It's something you use to clean up, though, so that's when your sanity would be high anyway, but even then you'll sometimes get unlucky. Still, I've seen both Shank and Mutilate just flat-out kill a mid-Chapter 2 enemy that was Fatally weak to their types from full HP with high rolls. (In Mutilate's case, since it was the copy that did the one-shot, it killed two enemies that turn. Incredible value.) Heathcliff's is an interesting case of how the mechanics work. You need ammo for his attacks, and he has no way to reload. (Which is ironic, since in Ruina Rabbits had a "don't deplete Ranged pages" passive.) The thing is, it only checks for ammo after the clashes. He has a lot of coins and pretty high values, so even after he runs out of ammo and stops doing much actual damage, he's still contributing a lot of value by stopping enemy attacks. Plus, that initial burst focus is great with Hong Lu's Tingtang Gangleader in particular and in Limbus Company's combat system in general. KobunFan posted:G-corp Gregor is my new best friend. Having a self-healing focus seems incredibly dangerous in a game with this game's stagger mechanics. What makes him good, does he just do a lot of damage?
