OG Xbox did eventually have that replacement power cable with a circuit breaker in it https://news.microsoft.com/2005/02/17/microsoft-announces-power-cord-replacement-for-xbox/ Some regions had it integrated into the plug and others had a big chunky box just hanging out in the middle of the otherwise regular cable
