Dragongate at Korakuen Hall, 3/2 HM: Don Fujii vs. Daiki Yanagiuchi The Dragongate dojo can't be stopped. Great debut and entry to the "crusty old man beats up rookie" genre. HM: YAMATO, Naruki Doi, Shuji Kondo, & Takashi Yoshida vs. Dragon Kid, Kagetora, Eita, & Dragon Dia Very fun 8-man. Lots of character stuff with YAMATO being a dick and Eita Eitaing. Had a slight fever dream feel. MOTYC: Rey de Parejas 2023 Semifinals - Shun Skywalker & KAI vs. Yuki Yoshioka & Madoka Kikuta Really solid match with an excellent finish that showcased the timing and precision that made Dragongate first stand out to me when I started watching. MOTYC: Rey de Parejas 2023 Finals - Yuki Yoshioka & Madoka Kikuta vs. Susumu Mochizuki & Yasushi Kanda Tag team wrestling at its finest.

HM: Riho vs. Emi Sakura - AEW Rampage 3/3 HM: Dustin Rhodes & Keith Lee vs. Parker Boudreaux & Swerve Strickland - AEW Rampage 3/3 I think it's a testament to how loving great Swerve and Lee are and how good Dustin is that this match was so good despite Boudreaux being green as grass and looking awful in there alongside them. Emi vs. Riho was just great fun.

Ganbare Pro ~ Once Upon a Time in Hollywood ~ February 25th MOTYC Mizuki Watase (c) vs Shinichiro Tominaga - Spirit of Ganbare Openweight Championship - I was so sure Watase would be a short term champ to get the belt off Jackson, but man's been great as the final boss of GanPro. A real enjoyable slugfest, only thing I didn't like is Tominaga's finisher which continues to look rubbish

Stardom Triangle Derby finals 3/4/23 HM: Himeka vs Chihiro Hashimoto. Great fun but a bit on the short side. MOTYC: AZM (c) vs Starlight Kid for the High Speed title. Was there any doubt this was going to be great? Wasn't just the typical go-go-go high speed AZM match and in that sense had more dimensions to it and was more interesting than their last encounter. MOTYC: Hazuki vs Saya Kamitani (c) for the Wonder of Stardom title. And yet as great as AZM and SLK were, they got overshadowed by this monster. This is likely to survive til the end of this year as my women's match of the year. If something tops it, I'll be shocked. If it wasn't for Omega vs Ospreay it would be my #1 match of the year so far Still have yet to watch a couple of matches but the show was outstanding.
