So there was old Provi bloc which is t a thing but CVA are back and holding some of Provi. They were replaced by Rekking Crew who also are in the middle of a split due to inactivity and then they are other independent groups like ourselves just making GBS threads the place up.

I think there are a bunch of old provi block guys in CVA now. They seem to be trying to get up and running and dabble in some faction warfare stuff with us too. I keep meaning to pop over but FW eats up all my time

We have an alt corp where people are just making alphas with the free 1m SP and that is enough for frigate/destroyer IV some tank skills and T2 small weapon. No need to Omega or MCT anything. Usually get on the militia comms and see what is going on and join their fleets or go find baddies to kill in plexes.

Yep - this is a good way to try it our relatively "cheaply" We run fleets pretty much every day to just cover the plexes and sooner or later fights break out. If you can get in a tanky tackle punisher, you can be useful I don't know how it works down in provi but I was on grid with cva and goosefleet once, shooting the same enemy, so I'd dare suggest trying Amarr for faction warfare would work out well given the proximity of provi/amarr space. If you are EU search for Red sky morning, if you are US try Emperyan Edict (or if you do try it on a main, talk to Ctrlv, they have a minimum SP requirement/I think they temp closed recruiting) Or you can just chill in the NPC FW corp, but if you do be sure to be active on comms or people could assume you are a spy It's good fun though and worth checking out if you are curious

Idk how much/if he still cares about actually developing the game and bettering the underlying infrastructure, rather than keeping it on life support for Pear Abyss to continue fireselling overpriced brain goo packages and non-hello-kitty skin bundles. But he was just recently invited to some bullshit talk on digital universes at some literary circlejerk summit, there's a YT video somewhere, where he was leaning hard into developing Eve in the 90s as a brutal dystopian pvp world etc. so he at least still cares about it as an achievement.
