Ned, this is a guy nearing his mid-40's who is on film just in the last month harassing train riders in Japan by playing loud music and sexually assaulting a 19 year old girl who is passed out drunk. This isn't some phase of someone who just started drinking in his teens (even then it is not okay but more "understandable") but someone who has had decades of his life to learn what is not okay to do. By you spending time with him and calling him your friend, you are essentially enabling his behavior and standing by him. "You are the product of the company you keep" There are a lot more comments here where people talk about what this guy did since he deleted all the videos / streams from that evening - https://www.reddit.com/r/LivestreamFail/comments/11mzeb6/streamer_kisses_a_blacked_out_girl/ - I don't think this is something that has been clipped to show a different narrative.

If he doesn't have people like me around to support him, he'll end up with the wrong type of influence 100% of the time. I know his history better than most people and he didn't really go out until he started streaming, and up until recently it was streaming him fishing near his house and going to Shibuya and drinking with foreigners.

Not sure if serious post or not, but if so, I highly recommend the Tatsukushi area in Tosa-Shimizu for beautiful beaches and if you're into diving or snorkeling or anything like that. For hiking, there's really too many good places to count, but highlights would be the Nyodogawa area and the Shikoku Karst. Edit: have been informed it's actually Niyodogawa. Things I've done: lived in Japan. Things I've never done: willingly hung out with a sexual predator. Listen Ned, you are alone here on this. There is a reason for that and it isn't because we all have some sort of conspiracy or agenda against these people. It sucks to know and/or admit people you are (hopefully were) friends with are such poo poo but the more you defend them and their behaviors, the more complicit you are in their actions, regardless of whether or not you tried (clearly not at all successfully) to save him from himself.
