The lore was fantastic. I sometimes miss those days.

I had a void wave frame GL to pair it with and was just blowing everything up with volatile rampage/ambition assassin rounds. Really need to find some armour mods that spams orbs and special ammo.

Now that the Partition mission is playable, I really don't get the gimmick. You are followed around by an ally with the special power to... force you to miss shots and leave cover? It sure didn't seem useful for navigation either Good practice run for the 7-minute attempt, looking forward to the next in three weeks

I hate being so under light level. I want to solo the legendary Vexcalibur mission to get a catalyst but I am getting annihilated. Minotaurs are 2 shotting me through over shield  .

Then even if it takes forever you at least get everything at once. But yeah, it's not fun to get mapped by perfect enemy snipers and it feels like poo poo especially when it seems like you're fully behind cover and they magically hit the hem of your space pants. I'm getting very tempted to cap my framerate since the engine just keeps making this a thing

I ran it last week and got Immovable Force or whatever My buddy ran it this week with me and he got Immovable Force, and I got Grave Robber. It DOES seem to continue giving you power advantages up to ~1815 at any rate, though. I'm not sure if Mettle caps you below 1830 or just AT 1830, but it'll get easier if you're going at it at a much lower level

So, am I right in that the only way to get Necrotic Grips is to wait until the Legendary Lost Sector is on “arm exotics” day, then do it and hope it drops?

I found a well-rolled ophidians ages ago and since it's at least useful in every single activity and I'm not drowning in golfballs I just stick with it. Starting to accumulate some more ascendant shards now that I have masterworked everything on my titan/hunter so maybe I'll look at something different soon

Starfire is the current best PVE exotic, Ophidians is s-tier pvp, Contraverse is also extremely strong in pve, Osmio and Sunbracers are both good, Karnsteins etc. so yes You can get an easily flawless legend lost sector just using Starfire + whatever double primaries you have with the champ mods. Man, Throne Cleaver with Incandescent is hilariously fun. Just be an invincible solar nightmare that causes mass explosions with every swing of your cool sword. Bonus points for not crashing my game 5 times like my volatile version does, but maybe that was just Avalon being Avalon. tl;dr Throne Cleaver owns and I can't wait to burn 69420 defiant engrams to get 1/5 redframes
