I think it's way more likely Justin is just getting a bit bored and antsy with that gimmick and wants to end it now before it outstays its welcome, rather than the whole arc is nearing its end. Yes I know he hasn't done this with that one MBMBAM segment but as a general rule in TAZ he's good at moving on from things at a decent clip.
