hot cocoa on the couch posted:2 weeks off was just long enough for me to begin to consider staying unemployed foreevr. life was too good. now i'm back at work I've drawn UI enough times, for long enough periods, that I know that malaise sets in and you get complacent then all of a sudden you're outta UI money and it's a crisis. I am not looking for that, I got a kitty and a girlfriend that I live with this time around. Knowing you're getting laid off for a year and a half and then shutting down the last running line for the last time by yourself, taking extra vacation days after a holiday, and then being told to not come back the day you come back because there is no work for you to do makes you wanna take a bit to reflect, though. Looking forward to see how I can throw my resume around this time now that I have 10 years of experience in manufacturing doing cleanroom and microsoldering work.
