In the meantime, Russia uses its UR-77s as ersatz missile launchers instead of doing the jobs they were supposed to do, and Ukraine has these as a priority target when they see them, along with ISDMs, which makes it even harder for Russia to eventually defend their positions the more of them get knocked out. Also there were reports from the Russian side via whinging from war propagandists on telegram that the UR-77s were garbage at mine clearing because the rockets keep missing where they're aiming and not clearing anything, something not previously noticed in their extensive combat history of being used to indiscriminately blow up Syrian and Ukrainian residential blocks.

That said, Strelkov mentioned quite clearly as well that Russia has enough gas in the tank to properly prosecute a war for 9 months to 1 year last February. After that, they're going to basically be out of equipment that matters for their land army.

The drone is a man portable model so it's pretty small and the heat seeker of a Strela is designed to shoot down much bigger targets with big bright heat signatures, like helicopters.
