I know for a fact that some players with large holdings in zen were trading them for dil trying to get orders in at 500 before the backlog disappeared - if the dilex goes down they make extra zen, and if it doesn't go down they lose nothing, so it was a good bet. I figure that is what caused the steep drop, and those same speculators selling back at below 500 to make a few zen is what's keeping it yo-yoing at the cap. But unless the bot-farms find a way to start back up again, I think we'll still end up below 500 eventually, it just might take a bit longer. It probably doesn't help that after over a year of a capped dilex, players who buy zen specifically to trade for dil have gotten spoiled and expect that zen will always get them 500 dil. You can see this whenever the price drops below 500 briefly, there's always a huge sell wall at 500 from all the players who just refuse to accept that their zen might be worth less now.

Though I suspect everyone who thought it was broken now selling their dil is part of why it keeps bouncing around 500 instead of dropping lower. Last time I did that it took over a month and a half. This time I did it when there were tons of Zen to buy in the 495 range before it went back to 500.

I think it's the same flavor of poo poo as the previous two seasons only they dragged your favorite TNG actors back in to ruin their characters too. Do you like grimdark Starfleet with lots of violent murder? Then you'll like this. If you actually want Star Trek again, pass.

Five episodes in it's still hard to say. Threads seem to be coming together but there's still quite a bit of poo poo that is still unexplained/mystery box bullshit and this show has a pattern of revealing the box to be full of turds in episode 9. It's nice to see Worf again at least.

So many of them just drop the ball mid-season, and there's enough quality TV out there that I literally don't have time to watch everything I'd want to. So just wait for it all to shake out, watch the good stuff, leave the crap behind. That said, I'm going to watch Ted Lasso as it airs because my wife will strangle me in my sleep if we don't, and I'm pretty sure if they gently caress that one up there will be city-destroying riots.

What's weird is that it's a loving cruiser. 5/3 4/2/5 though it can only get lt tac abilities. Cmdr Engi/command, lt comm sci/mw, lt tac, e tac, lt uni. Weird setup. The model looks great though. I love all the TMP era models they've made, like the one for the Walker class is also brilliant. It comes paired with the L Valdore for the people dumb enough to want to try and make romulan ships work, let alone a temp ops escort. It looks substantially less good appearance wise too.
