Once he ludicrously became a national political figure this became a real problem. Like probably most of us, he had not terribly progressive opinions about transgender people in the 90s and 2000s. But while we're able to learn and grow, he just fundamentally isn't. He can only double, and triple, and quadruple, etc, etc, down. The mad thing is, he was a published journalist in the early 90's. So you can read his writings about Amiga games and get an insight into his mind.
