Not watching enough of that stuff to understand why you'd even bother. U-control flying is all we could do before R/C got cheap enough for the rest of us. My first planes in the early '70s were Cox U-controls. Competitive flying involved having a streamer off the tail and the object was to cut the opponent's streamer. Used to be a 10' circle and the two pilots stayed in it. Them the planes got faster & faster and then there were more than two pilots at a time, & that's what you end up with.

That’s the most Chav thing I’ve ever seen. Is this a part of hooligan Olympics? Do you get fouled out for kicking someone in the nuts? The round is won when the opponent falls. Do they collapse in pain or can you through them down (which makes kicking kind of pointless). The ladies in lab coats don’t make the guys kicking each other seem any more legitimate.
