Like a 100% chance he hops on a private jet and skips the country, right?

Still has to go to an airport (even if flying private), still needs FAA approval to take off, still needs to get out of US Airspace. If he wasn't already gone he's not going anywhere.

Would be hilarious to see him try though, not because he thinks it'll work, but because he thinks it would be the "cool" option and ends up having a heart attack when the feds grab his rear end.

MSNBC just showed a shot of the airport near Mar-a-Lago where Trump's fleet of private jets are parked. The media has the place staked out so if Trump gets on a plane to go anywhere (under his own power, anyway), the whole world is going to know it.

I don't like saying what people need or don't need to know because I don't know what it takes to influence a person. I know that my thoughts changed after reading some of these writings to think even worse of these shooters because of how arbitrary, pointless, rambling and frankly deranged they are.

I agree that you don't need to blast it out, but I think the primary writings should be linked or readily available to people who are interested in them.

The only thing making the manifestos of assholes public after they murder people does is communicate to other assholes "wow! If I murder a bunch of people I can get attention too!"

By your own admission all you seem to have learned from reading the rambling bullshit these losers put out is that there was nothing of value in what they had written. Well no poo poo! The kind of person who thinks wanting to make a point entitles then to murder children isn't the kind of person with anything of value to say ever because they loving suck.

This latest dude who killed a bunch of people? He sucked. All the dudes who came before him that murdered people? They also sucked. All the dudes that are going to come after these fuckers and murder people? Spoiler alert: they're going to suck!

They only lesson to be learned from all this is "NEED GUN CONTROL NOW" and until America gets a handle on that the least we can do is stop saying shooters lovely names, burn their lovely writings, and stop airing interviews with their friends and family where they talk about "oh but he was so nice and quiet". Spree shooters made a choice to be nothing but an rear end in a top hat and that's how they should be treated: as nothing.

lovely people who do lovely things shouldn't get validation for their lovely actions.

Speaking of lovely people doing lovely things:

Trump really got indicted, I gotta admit I'm pleasantly surprised.

Depends on whether he gets convicted or not

But I would doubt that he's facing serious prison time. We just won't know until the actual charges are unsealed.

This is such a great example of the DeSantis dilemma - he wants to run against Trump, but he has to do stuff like this, either because the voters love Trump so much or because he doesn't dare to go against Trump. Neither option bodes well for his chances.
