So, whats the over/under on the judge slapping Trump with gag order as soon as he's arraigned on Tuesday? 5 minutes? more or less.

They’d better because next week is liable to be wild. In addition to calling the Manhattan DA “corrupt” and “socialist” and of course encouraging Chud Nation to murder him, Trump is also prepared to “politically gently caress ‘em up” https://twitter.com/hugolowell/status/1642649447606763524?s=20

If he were the current president bringing down his governmental authority on the guy I can see how that would be no good. But the case here is a defendant planning to politically advocate against his own prosecution, which doesn't seem like a conflict of interest.

Well, it is a conflict of self-interest. Something that would be fairly obvious to the self-aware. but

I am sure they would actually enjoy that overall, a prison is designed to control people's movements, you can easily protect the the body of former president Trump in that situation, And it wouldn't be like Trump would go into a shabby area, he'd get a nice cell, he is a former president and they aren't going to dump him into solitary.

(If such things even exist in Rikers). I can't imagine him sleeping on a prison bed and not being able to troll social media at 3 AM would do a lot of good things for his heart. If he did die in prison the base would loving explode, and conspiracy theories would make Epstein look minuscule.

I honestly wonder what removing all sources of media from Trump would do after the initial few days of him freaking out from not having any sources of instant gratification on hand. Like, just a week of no internet, TV or newspaper. Do you think it might mellow him out just a tad, or do you think he would actually collapse into a ball of white-hot rage that is visible from space?

Yeah, it would be a pretty easy bypass for him to tell someone else what to tweet, though if that person uses his official TS account I don't think the judge would be that amused either. More likely his proxy would tweet under their own name, but that wouldn't get nearly as big a reaction.
