For me, the writing and dialogue were the worst parts of the Borderlands games I tried. Couldn't imagine wanting to see a whole movie based on it. Cool cast, though.

They were really wanting to flex their new found creativity in cinematic cutscenes, and the N64's very limited 25mb would have prevented that.

Also somewhere I still have EGM 100 with the first top 100 games list I ever saw, must've read that one cover to cover a couple dozen times. SOTN placed pretty high (#12) on the list which shows forsight, though I personally think it could've snagged the #8 over Contra III. Tetris was #1 which some of my friends felt was a huge cop-out at the time but with every passing year seems more accurate. Man, I'm a big fan of Hendricks and their Neptunia limited release was excellent. Made a great Gin and Tonic, despite me fully ignoring it's repeated appeals to add cucumber, the meme vegetable. So I found they got another limited release Flora Adora, now I ain't a big fan of Flowers in drinks, but given it was that, Costco Generic, or Bombay Sapphire I figured I'd give it a shot. Let me tell you, it's incredibly loving flowery, I gave it a sniff and it felt like I stuck my snout in a bundle of potpourri. Made up a G and T, and it's drinkable but it's really overpowered by the floral notes. I can't even taste any Juniper, just random hints of lavender or something. Gonna have to do it up in something that complements it better I think
