So, npr is 11% funded by the government. And if as claimed is then a mouth piece for them, at what is honestly rock bottom prices, what government ever would wish to defund this? This is the logic step they can't ever seem to get past.

Like, media literacy is important and understanding the funding and governance structures of news organisations is a part of that literacy.
