Yeah you can usually tell when someone is playing a dumb character by their history suggesting at some point there was a coherent thought animating at least some of their decisions, and there is no such evidence in her case. So she appeals to people without the ability to think below the surface on literally any issue because she is such a person. The only difference is that she is also probably a narcissist so like many right-wing narcissists she realized there was a place for her in the Republican party!
