I spent all night playing six ages, as I’ve never beaten it, and drat I seem to lose nine raids out of ten. So while I don’t typically ragequit I do rage-restart a lot, the constant losses are starting to get to me

it was my birthday yesterday so i went to an infertility clinic, watched the mario movie which was alright but a bit safe and then had a mcdonalds got stoned and played dota, it was a good day

My inventory is jammed full of weapons that do enough damage to be basically interchangeable with each other in most situations and the things I'm usually killing are dropping even more of them. Bow degradation is slightly more annoying because good bows are much less plentiful, but the thing I really hate is shield degradation. Almost all of my shields so far have broken because I accidentally set off a bomb too close to me while locking on to an enemy (i.e. holding my shield up) and doing that seems to instantly destroy any shield, and good shields seem pretty rare.

I didn't mind weapon durability in the end but they should have made the master sword indestructible (instead of temporarily depowered when it "breaks")

Weapons breaking is great, cause you're constantly forced into using whatever random bullshit you can find. As opposed to constantly hoarding Really Good Swords just in case you Need It Later Gonna weld the Master Sword and a Stick together in TotK Gonna call it the Master Stick

People complaining about degradation is fine, but you're not getting what BotW is going for wrt the open ended structure of the world. It's just a massive sandbox you constantly need to adapt your approach to There's no one standard build that works, cause everything works

God I forgot how much chilling out in Eorzea is just a ~*vibe*~. I spent some time farming some bushes for some hidden harvesting items and in the process got a whole bunch of laurel which it turned out I needed for a Botanist quest because there were culinarians who wanted it to give people appetite and they were just really passionate about making sure the soldiers were being fed and then I chilled out by a lighthouse fishing with the wind whipping around me and the sea rolling in all for some coral so I could make some shoes. What a lovely world to spend time in

I kinda wish it was indestructible too though.
