I tried replaying fire red and one of the other old gameboy titles on an emulator during the pandemic and man, they are a lot easier than I remember. I get that they’re made for little kids but by the time you hit victory road, you’ll be one-shotting p much anything you run up against. Speaking of which, it’s pretty weird none of the Pokémon games are available on the switch online service for either GB or GBA. You’d think those would be a no brainer

All this talk of God of War and Pokemon. Not two things that go together but it reminds me of something from long ago. Some goon came across an advertisement or something. I can't recall but I think it was two seperate pieces of different articles above and below each other. One about God of War and the other about Spongebob Squarepants. Goons had a field day doing MSpaints of Spongebob dressed up as Kratos and acting out the events in God of War. Emulators up to the 64 bit era plus MAME/Retrocade if you’re into old arcade games iirc. Maybe more since I last looked. Definitely check it out. That machine was by far the most mod friendly portable out there for a long time.

Thanks for the recommendations and help! Also I want to play mgs3 eventually but I've got like 10,000 hours of poe2 first. Burned out on wrath of the righteous and poe2 is like the very best isometric rpg I've played in forever. It annihlates the pathfinder games so completely I wish I could go back in time and not spend forever on wotr
