Whenever I watch an F1 race on TSN we get commercial breaks as well and they put the race in the window. It's annoying. I've been watching F1 highlights on the youtube channel and I have to say that there's a lot of ugly car eras out there. The 90s cars look slick as hell and the R25 and 26 are sexy beasts but the 2014 cars look like street sweepers.

skinny rear wing and snow plow front was an ugly look nearly a decade, 2014 might of been the worst for hosed up noses.

I don’t know if it’s the break or that we’re in for another year of Red Bull domination while the sport becomes increasingly commercialised by American owners but I’m just not that arsed about the gap to the next race. I’m really only watching now for Alonso who has selflessly decided to try and rescue the sport, and hoping that Baku will welcome all of us.

The best thing was the Australian GP first race of 201X when ESPN got the rights from NBC for F1, they did the IndyCar thing of having restaurant-quality PiP during commercials. There was such a quick backlash from the fellow American sickos watching F1 that they have since never tried that poo poo again

I used to watch some thing with Leigh Diffy and David Hobbs and some 3rd person? NBC? Pretty sure they showed commercials during the race back then with no PIP.

Maybe they should air those half hour infomercial blocks during F1 so I'd be more willing to pay attention and less inclined to fall asleep during a race.
