It's kind of hard to recommend people dip themselves into SAD because it's fallen into the same kind of posting personality/anger-driven rut QCS did, but the admins run a bit on "who was the last person to talk to me" rules so if you don't speak up it's extremely easy for people to run away with some utter BS. It helps if you can do it while sounding normal and not like a huge creep.

Still all a bit short on high end main battle tanks, but they seem to be acquiring a reasonable collection of second-tier-tanks, AFV and IFVs. Unless I've missed it, none of the western tanks/afv/ifvs have shown up in combat footage so far. Western artillery and APC type stuff has clearly been put in to immediate use but tanky stuff is being stockpiled.

Here's an article about the Donbass Dumbass https://news.usni.org/2023/04/17/feds-investigating-former-sailor-behind-pro-russian-donbass-devushka-accounts An interesting fact at the bottom - she advanced to E7 but was discharged as an E5. For those non-military goons, in the Navy the transition from E6 to E7 is unlike any other rank promotion. Up to E6, you just take a test (gently caress, for the first paygrades you just have to have time in service) and if you score high enough for your job, you advance. When you are up for Chief (E7), you have to pass the test and then submit your package (heh) to a board for review and then blah blah blah you make it and there is a whole Hazing Period that lasts for weeks while the E7 and above teach you how to be a Chief. It's a whole thing, but the point is that you have to check a lot of boxes to make Chief and a lot of people plot their career path to make it. Anyway that is the normal advancement stuff. You can also get Command Advanced, which is your command saying BEEP BOOP, PAY RAISE. When promoting to E4 and up, you are technically "Frocked" when the results come back and you made it. This means that you get to wear the rank but you don't get paid for it until a specific date. If you gently caress up while you're frocked, you really frock yourself because you can go down to the level you previously were before the promotion. So an E5 who advanced to E6 but fucks up can be put down to an E4. Oh and now you're past your high year tenure so good luck. The only other way to lose two or more ranks is through Courts Martial. Either way, she hosed up either while being frocked or something that required a Court Martial. LOL
