It's also how they treat anyone who gets any sort of workers comp where they spend a significant amount of money to follow recipients around to verify someone is actually disabled and isnt like - you know enjoying any part of their life ever. You got a hosed up back? If you ever lift a kid again and they see you, good bye workers comp. If you aren't completely miserable then clearly you should be working. It's so bad that if you google "Workers comp investigator" theres a million law offices talking about it because so many deal with appeals.

The only people I know who get government aid and do not work are literally disabled to the point they can not work.

SKULL.GIF posted:Because Google doesn't care about good search results, they care about getting you to click on one of their advertisement products. The search results are just a method to get you to do that. I have a question about this I brought up in the Ukraine thread. I've had to use Yandex to find articles and events I had prior knowledge of, like a Ukrainian drone/cruise missile hitting Croatia last March, the Ukrainian defence chief's article about their war strategy for 2023. I know these events took place and were documented (and the articles found on yandex confirmed it), but I also remember googling them in the first place. So clearly some change took place between then and now. Alright, so, is this 100% a commercial algorithm change or is it - even partly - ideological? I have never had as much trouble using google as I'm having now, to the point where I just use JSTOR to do initial searches, where that used to be much more cumbersome.

I was looking up on Google why the novistadors in the water in the re4 remake don't show up on the biosensor scope and I couldn't find any results on it. which I think may also be ideological

News stories are hardest to track down. likely because there is too much junk being labeled as trump, Putin, Ukraine, covid, etc. It sees those names and gives you whatever news happened recently.

I've mentioned this before but Medicaid care outcomes and medication adherence are *higher* than for commercial health insurance because people on Medicaid are more likely to get care knowing that they won't get a surprise bill. Wiping out the commercial insurance landscape and making Medicare/Medicaid available to all Americans from birth would solve so many social problems in this country
