the US hasn’t made any real advances in nuclear tech in years and Canada’s SMR projects are literally all just attempts to replace the energy requirements of fossil fuel extraction with nuclear to get more fossil fuels, there’s nothing in that plant the Soviets didn’t have in the 70s I’d bet lolol
