Context is important. There's "man" as in humanity in general, and there's "man, what are you even talking about?", and there's "watch that man" There's "dudes, what's next?", there's "yo dude what was that?", there's "I gently caress dudes" Fellas, is the indistinct gendering of English nouns a problem? Personally I just use neutrals unless it's relevant, y'all.
