Photo reminded me of when I learned that, in ads for watches and such, the hands are always set to 10:10. I used to do a lot of collage stuff and that's when I noticed it. I guess at some point someone did a study that determined this was the most aesthetically pleasing position for the hands or something like that but for some reason I always found it interesting. Now that you know it, you'll see it every time.

Photos of the clock on phones are set to 9:41, because whenever Jobs did his iphone reveals to a live audience, he wanted the clock to show the right time. 7 segment displays often are shown as all 8s with every segment lit, which causes twitter idiots to freak out about nazi clocks.
