marshmallow creep posted:When are they going to make a movie about that one variety of vampire that only sucks blood out of your feet, so the only way to defeat it is for two people to sleep in the same sleeping bag but pointed in opposite directions so that when the vampire tries to suck feet they discover a head so when they go to the other end of the bag they discover another head and they have a divide by zero error thinking the person in the sleeping bag has heads at either end and no feet and dies. Tarantino would love it. I guess we now know what the first draft of From Dusk Till Dawn was.

It's not unheard of - usually location shooting and studio shooting are done separately rather than going back and forth. They might have had all the studio stuff scheduled first, which could include a lot of green screen environment extensions. Though on Afterlife, they filmed from July to October in 2019, and we started to get footage turned over in September, once most of it had already been shot. It sounds like they started shooting in late March on the new one, so there's still probably another month to go before the VFX vendors start any real work on it.
