The least hostile thread in the Trad Games board I've experienced is weirdly the historical thread. If you wanna paint little samurais or frenchy musket boys there's virtually no hostility which is the exact opposite experience I've had irl or on any other forum

The mtg thread has some people who would be better off threadbanned because they are just absolutely miserable people who are also incredibly hostile to anyone playing the game "wrong", posting streamers/youtubers they don't like, or people who go loving insane about deck types they hate. It's extremely offputting, which sucks because it's fun to just bullshit about gimmick deck builds and dumb lore stuff, or how Lukka really sucks and died like a chump and it's funny nobody cares
