Thinking about how it actually is the perfect time for Jack Dorsey’s new Twitter clone to launch, in the week since blue checks became prioritised the quality of replies to any large tweet have become so drastically, noticeably worse. You have to wade through so much poo poo to get to replies from people who aren’t completely brain dead and for most casual users it’s gonna be the first time since Musk took over that they can look and Twitter and see how much worse he’s made it.

I'm looking forward to the time AI needs to be dumbed down to pass off as an average Internet user so it can be used to effectively astroturf/propagandize/scam, and I suspect we're also not far off that, either. There needs to be a word for that point. Like there's a word for the singularity.
