Wright? Really?

Good for Fields that the Bears are finally investing in the line, but why draft the guy who can't pass-protect in space when you have a quarterback scrambling all over the place?

Because their need is to not have their quarterback running for his life.

Fields got a weapon with DJ Moore, and Darnell Mooney should be coming back.

Now they have a solid offensive line, more or less.

The offense is entirely up to Fields, now. I expect the rest of the draft to be defense-focused.

It's always going to be a multi-year rebuild. Always has been.

I expect the Bears to top out in 2023 at maaaaybe 5 or 6 wins.

Wright was very good at pass protection lol.

Dude Stonewalled every single one of the best Pass rushers in the SEC lol.

He is a pretty good pass blocker.

He sucks at Run Blocking not Passblocking.

As someone who very much does not like the chicago bears I was upset they drafted wright. As Dexo said he was amzing in against great competition in the SEC and naturally is a good right tackle. I was hoping NFL folks would devalue him and he'd be in Those guys make nearly as much as LTs and you're looking at 15-20MM for top of the market RT.

It's a great pick. I would grab more if I was Chicago to be honest - some interior help - because you _have_ to protect fields better this year.

He is gonna be terrifying behind that line and in that offense, but they must not think he's gonna be there at 18.

I figured the Packers would go Edge in the first. There’s a billion tight ends and the second round receivers aren’t any different from the ones that may go in the first.

You don't go from a first-overall-pick team to being .500 overnight. I have a lot of faith in Poles, but as Parcells said, your team is what your record says it is.
