Poles took best available and I think that's the right move. It'll be up to the coaching staff to develop them now.

As you get more depth, it is easier to target places to improve your roster.

He's not even going to get the higher tiers of the 5th year option as he won't hit the snap counts for playtime(unless he makes the pro bowl this year, in which case you'd probably be more than happy to pay it). His salary number is gonna be like ~19-20 million, unless the recent QB contracts gently caress with the money, which it might. Especially considering if he is mid-okay, and then you decide you have to franchise him to have him prove it one more year before the long contract you jump from 20 million a year to like ~33 million a year.
