I am going to have a not-friendly chat with my Son-in-law today. My daughter was handed a pay or quit notice a few minutes ago. I gave my SIL $600 last month to help cover the rent. Why, exactly, isn't rent paid? This will be a fun conversation to have.  Edit: I doubt he stole the cash; he isn't that kind of guy. Instead, I assume he said $600 would be what is needed to cover rent, but in reality, it was more, and his dumb young pride got in the way of him telling me how much he actually needed to cover rent.
