People to this day will still tell you that the tunnel is automated because why wouldn't it be Waymo has actual automated taxis in LV already!!! To be fair, this works in Las Vegas. You go there to be driven around drunk by an Uber driver on meth who needs $300 that night to make the lease on his black Tahoe, get touched by weird people without permission in the middle of the sidewalk, and take pictures by Fake Eiffel Tower before drinking more. It's all spectacle, and an impractical low-throughput county fair ride like a Boring Loop is fine for the town's sthick. People in this country are astoundingly stupid; our big dumb red light city can be stupid too.

i have a thought: what if we made a tunnel that's shittier than tunnels from literally 170 years ago then we pave it bumpier than rails were a century ago then we buy vehicles that together require far more driver staff than rail ever did, while offering none of the amenities or opportunities for in-transit convenience sales, ALL THE WHILE MOVING FAR FEWER PEOPLE apparently, the upshot is that ...number go up?

Stefan Prodan posted:nah I really did download a bunch, they were like 50 mb each for 20 min episodes lol oh i'm fully aware of all that. the problem is that for some reason a majority of the small handful of dbz sites that happened to even have full episodes also seemed to have some kind of cap on their download speed for some stupid reason? like, i had a 33.6k connection at home (  ) but even the T3 connections at my school library barely did much better. by the time one episode would finish, lunch would already be over  and honestly, looking back it's kind of crazy to see how far we've come in terms of online media. hell, even youtube didn't have 480p videos until 2008!
