To be fair, I don't think this gets said enough that people who get probed or banned for being weird can really internalize it. The only thing a lot of people see, or really care about, is the punishment.

Ramp it up for being the dragon dicks poster or w/e, but I recall Space Tits and rear end ended with Space rear end getting over her transphobia and rekindling her relationship with Space Tits. Just taking one post out of context in order to villify an easy target. It feels disingenuous to call them a transphobe when it seems to come from a place of ignorance rather than malice and when the posts being used to justify that label are part of a narrative about overcoming transphobia? Keep the punishment as is for being the dragon dicks weirdo, I dunno.

IMO it shows that he hasn't really changed since the dragon poo poo was still as creepy and Chaser as hell, it's worth looking at from the perspective of continued behavior. like if in an alternate reality the dragon stuff was just cringe instead of a gross sex thing and the space tits and rear end thing was dug up to try to get him retroactively in trouble, that'd be one thing, but it really feels the exact same crap.

I think that the parts of the old thread that I have read over the last day were transphobic regardless of whatever ending was arrived at later in the narrative. They revolved around objectifying and fetishizing trans people within the general trend of the entire thread being overt masturbation material, and the particular post linked was especially transphobic in the way it chose to frame the plot point of another character transitioning: describing transition as "unusual predilections" or a kink, describing it as "the man you love disappear[ing]", the entire thing revolving around sex and genitalia, the line "Your husband was more silicone now than man, some kind of cobbled together abomination you could no longer tolerate"... and so on. Coupled with the material of a character transitioning being used as joke fodder for the thread with followup posts such as: Bacontotem posted:Jerked it to Space Tits. Now regrets the plot twist. RudeCat posted:Same, but only because I regret not waiting until the plot twist. Meme Poker Party posted:She was drawn before the creator decided she was a man. You're in the clear buddy! I did not do the ban+30 for an eight year old post, I did it for the dragon porn thread, but I did it because to me the eight year old thread shows that this is a recurring pattern of behaviour in which Applewhite fetishizes trans people in a way that I interpret as transphobic, in service of writing and drawing fetish porn stories to post on the forums. The combination of those things, to me, demanded the larger penalty.
