For me the more worrying part is seeing how it is really starting to colour peoples understanding of politics and view political concepts in american terms. and some readily adopted trends in swedish culture. Alot of exotic non-anglo influences, foods etc in Sweden get a foothold because it was made popular in the anglophone world first. So even a lot of non-western influences are filtered by the US or wider anglo-culture rather than us finding it by broadening our reach.
