somehow I doubt that they currently have to ability to automatically delete accounts for inactivity, based on how all the twitter blue / removing legacy checkmarks fiasco went down. I think they're just gonna use it as a cudgel to try and bully people who left the platform into coming back. I can only hope that nobody big like NPR are pathetic enough to cave, but who knows! media people do seem to have this lingering investment in twitter, even if their "principles" prevent them from financially supporting it
