Damn you, harlot! Science and I know what we're doing!
Sometime around 2003-05, Arbys had a chicken tender meal that came with Buffalo sauce and ranch sauce for dipping the tenders. It’s probably simple enough to make yourself, but it was convenient having both sauces in the same container.

I used to like Wendy’s pita sandwiches too, but it’s probably rose-tinted glasses.

Mark me down as another PB Crisp fan, too. The chocolate ones were amazing.

Most of the stuff I've listed in here was stuff I liked but I don't know if I'd call it amazing. But I haven't been able to find cock and bull ginger beer anywhere in years and I'm not sure they even still make it. I can buy a four pack on amazon... for nearly 18 bucks which very much seems to me the price of someone who's selling off a bunch of a discontinued drink.

I just remembered Roy Rogers restaurants. They were all over the place in the Philly area in the early 80s and had a fixin's bar where you could pick out tomatoes and the like from a little salad bar. I can still taste the watery BBQ sauce they had, kind of like NC style sauce with brown sugar in it.

There used to be this multi-grained puff cereal, it was like rice, wheat and corn or something like that? It was a really good mix but they don't make it anymore, I'll be damned if I can remember what it was called.

They still have these in Maryland Eastern Shore, I was just through there on the way out of Delaware. Waldorf/La Plata area. Didn’t know about the fixins bar though!

Nehi used to make a blue cream soda, I would have drank it by the gallon. Probably only good because I was a kid, but oh man I’d love to try it again.

These were OK:

The phone number ruled though.

quote:

Unlike the brightly colored Coca-Cola cans, they were decorated in drab shades of gray, with occasional red text. In addition to the primarily two-tone illustrations, the cans featured a special code that could be entered at the toll-free number "1-800-I-FEEL-OK" that led callers through a series of true-or-false prompts inspired by the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory. Cans also sported a "Coincidence" in the form of an odd OK Soda-themed urban legend set in various towns around the United States, each anecdote ending with the statement, "This is a coincidence." OK Soda's marketing team also mailed out these "Coincidences" in the form of chain letters to promote the soda, and in turn these chain letter were read on TV spots for OK Soda.

edit: if you still want to taste one today just mix all the different flavors together at a soda machine and that's pretty much it

Things I remember that never come up in these threads.

When I was a kid I used to love this shrimp cocktail that came in jars premade. It was cooked baby shrimp in glass jars packed in cocktail sauce. We used to use the empty jars as water and juice glasses.

At one point in the 90s, RC Cola had something called RC Premium Draft or something which was supposed to be high end RC in bottles that were supposed to look like beer bottles. I was so goddamn excited for these and I feel like they lasted less than a month.

Those are "Sau Sea" brand and I'm not seeing them coming up as available to buy, but they can be reverse engineered:

1) Buy some Bookbinder's Prepared Horseradish, easy to find at most normie supermarkets, mix it 50/50 with ketchup for a better and more cost-effective cocktail sauce than the all-in-one

2) Boil some shrimp, de-shell/de-vein or just buy some precooked if you're lazy

3) Mix them together into a mason jar and can them with a water-bath so they last indefinitely

This sandwich was so good. It's too bad chick FIL a became popular and every fast food restaurant decided a chicken sandwich has to be a fried chicken breast and 2 pickles on a sweet bun, there used to be some variety.
The triple Crunch Zinger was 3 extra crispy tenders, shredded lettuce, tomato, and spicy mayo on a kaiser roll.
