Dinner & Saint  Fun show, some last minute changes due to illness (no Chhun, no Guillermo) but the replacement matches were good too. Judas took a disgusting bump - SGC dropped him barefoot onto tacks, and they were sticking out of his heels.  Vert/Adora was good, but something went wrong with the finish. I think Trish didn't know how to take her finisher or something. Standout for me other than ElP/Wayne was probably Schaff/Taurus. Just two big burly dudes beating the poo poo out of each other.

Feels like I hear about GCW burning bridges or Brett being a prick more often these last 365 days than I do about their shows' actual content/quality. I'm sure that's healthy and sustainable though

I def agree, my post came off as defensive of GCW when it was really intended as more of an attack on the people going to XPW lol. Im def on the wrestlers side of this one and if XPW can pay their workers consistently so can Brett. Especially deathmatch wrestlers like Colon, whose put so much into the company. For what they put their bodies through and the risks they take, it's really just awful to not even show them the basic respect of paying them. With less and less deathmatches, no interesting storylines, and Nick Gage's career winding down, GCW is less and less interesting to me, especially with so many good indie alternatives. Finding myself in an interesting situation as I'm going to the GCW show this Sunday, mostly to see some old friends work and Maki Itoh, but also am well aware of Brett's reputation and some extremely shady things he's done, particularly during the pandemic. Before the gimmick shows took off they were kind of a step above shindy. Looks like little has changed. Pay Alex, man.
