Also my series 3 cards to look forward to are Dazzler and Ghost. And I only have a 1 in 3 of grabbing Knull, Master Mold or Negasonic before the next series drop. I'm actually looking forward to Master Mold. I like Ronan.

I genuinely wonder how well this game is doing. I guess there really is not a way to know. I don't read malice or incompetence or even greed into the series drop changes. What I see is them probably seeing that people don't want to spend their tokens on cards that will be cheaper later when it's a reliable timeframe to have to wait. I wish you could do something like pay 99 cents for a mystery bundle of a variant and gold/tokens/card backs/credits (I don't personally want any of the avatars or titles, because they're mostly awful). I've seen enough Nebulas to guess that plenty of people do the Season Pass, but I'd prefer to do the occasional small purchase to support the game - so I've only bought the Cap bundle.

Why is Sauron in my token shop as a Series 4/5 for 1000 tokens? And there's nothing in my Series 3 window to pick up, but Sauron was supposed to be dropping to 3 and I don't have him.

I just really wanted Knull for my all-Symbiotes/Venomized Variants deck as a center-piece no matter how bad the deck is, so yes I really wanted Knull this month. e.: Also admitting that they will now be using scarcity to "balance" (read: encourage whaling) the game is mega dogshit.

Darkhawk is one of the best finishers in the game and goes well in a bunch of decks so yeah the sudden changing of drop rates to keep the card everyone needs in S4? Yeah, that's a bad look.

I am maybe halfway through S3, and in the last month+ of playing daily, the hottest card I have unlocked (of 5) is Debrii. I am not sure I have the patience to wade through another month of getting wrecked by meta decks I can't build so that I can unlock stuff like Sentry and Sauron.

Not that I agree with the acquisition model or anything, but I feel like people were complaining about everything dropping into series 5 for months and now we have confirmation that at least a couple things are going to drop into series 4 and people are complaining about it. Like yeah the big wowzers card is probably gonna drop into series 5 but the entire point is that stuff like Howard/Snowguard probably shouldn't be starting in series 5 anyway and dropping stuff into series 4 makes it easier to pick up without blowing all your tokens on it. As for the Darkhawk thing, I don't really have a strong opinion on it one way or the other but that's mostly because I already have him. Certainly not a great look.

i think 'the best cards are going to be hard to get' has been a part of the game since they decided the flashiest cards were never going to leave series 5. idk, i'm still surprised they did anything at all regarding card acquisition with stuff like the free series 3 card a month and the upcoming 'buy a series 3 card for 1000 tokens' but it really remains to be seen how long they keep loving with things until they say they're actually happy with how card acquisition rate is and whether it's anything close to what people actually want
