Besides, there hasn't been a V3 run on the forums yet, I think

From - Lord Admiral Grey Hunter, To - Her Royal Highness, Empress of the Croctapus Empire. We continue to expand your hold on the planet. Another count is convinced to become our vassal. This is Osar's last act however, as he passes and Osar II takes the throne. With a fully grown heir already, Osar is a learned man, already well renowned as a scholar. He continues to claim land. Then it is time for his inauguration war! Go forth our troops! I have to say, the royal court is looking fine these days well, for this backwater hellhole I have found myself stranded on! News from the front it bad, our forces got themselves slaughtered! We reform and try again! Dammit! In fact, this loses the war. And we are declared bankrupt! It does not take long for the vultures to start circling, and the first civil war breaks out. In goes our much larger army! Oh..... Nooooo...... Well, this got interesting quickly! Unsporting, our enemies combine their forces to smash our own. Agatha may well be our ticket out of this mess! Letters are hurriedly written as we hear the enemy battering at the gates. It is to late, the capital is plundered, and the liberty faction enforce their demands. There are still this lot our there however. This is not going to end well. Our troops manage to flee in time. Then our allies arrive, and we turn around. Sadly, they are not as quick on the march as I would like. Those are some heavy losses! The Queen is dead! The new bride brings a powerful alliance with her. Osar waste no time consecrating the marriage. Our fortunes turn round quickly. Another son comes of age. The arrival of 25,000 troops is the big news. Osar has a new son. Easy come, easy go. Our forces are advancing quickly, and have now taken the rebel capital. Another crusade is called. Then news comes that Osar has been wounded badly the wound heals quickly, but his face will never recover. At leas the war is won! Osar has no luck with children. He takes to displaying a newly captured skull in the throne room. No one has any interest in the crusade. Yet another child joins the family. The child's parentage is immediately called into question! She is thrown into prison while this is investigated. It seems that Osar's son and heir, Bidlia has been sleeping with his stepmother! The scandal is enough o launch a new wave of pornography! I'm not sure what is worse, this or the current state of our borders!

From - Lord Admiral Grey Hunter, To - Her Royal Highness, Empress of the Croctapus Empire. Desperate measures are needed to make up the huge debt we are in. Selling land to the religious nutjobs is one of them. Mostly the time is spent trying to get to the bottom of the Queens infidelity! And putting up with bad smells. Someone has made an attempt on Osar's life! He survives, bludgeoning his would be assassin to death with a book of all things! I guess the lack of a dataslate has to be useful occasionally! While he obviously has his opponents, others are more than happy to join the Kingdom. The balance is settled! We can start building up a war chest once more. Though there are a lot of brigands hanging around from the lack of law enforcement police cost money! Thankfully, Osar is able to drive this lot off. This money is for a feast, we pocket it for war. Oh yeah, I also have to put on a show to cover my latest snacks. Their not to know its the same cave I used last time! It removes the heat on me and gives Osar a bit of fame. Though we do have to repay a loan. Osar has been working on his health. Another lord is convinced to become a vassal. But there is still this massive petty kingdom within our borders. It's time to solve that problem. Their army, though large, flees before us! Something of a stalemate begins but this works for us as our allies arrive. Soon things are looking a lot more one sided. Finally they are forced to offer battle. We bring fifty thousand men to a battle which the chroniclers of this world will talk about for centuries. Aelfwig realises he has no hopes of victory. There is no rest, as Albion becomes our next target. We engage with a massive advantage in troops- but somehow the enemy ambush and defeat our forces! This seems a bit petty, if you ask me. Another son comes of age. We are defeated in battle once more. But then a civil war breaks out, and their army is distracted. We begin to take their lands by seige. Another son comes of age. Albion finish their civil war, and come for us, but we have used the intervening years to take their land. Victory is ours. Though I will admit more through luck than skill! We then make a good amount of money by ransoming people. Albion is now a rump state, and Khakassia is looking stronger than it has in a long time. Things are going well. Yours Grey Hunter.

From - Lord Admiral Grey Hunter, To - Her Royal Highness, Empress of the Croctapus Empire. Another daughter comes of age. We tighten our grip on the kingdom. Though our attempts to place an heir into the elective position are being thwarted! Another duchy is created. The less said about this the better! The cuckold child comes of age, having spent all her life under house arrest. This seems kinder. Off into the cold harsh world you are in no way prepared for! Have fun! Things would be simpler if you just voted to one of Osar's kids! Time for a war! Dammit! At least the war is going well! After taking their capital, we march after their armies catching them split up! This allows us to defeat them in detail. Disaster! Osar has been murdered! Bidia takes control. But not of a united Khakassia! And not even as a king! Both sets of electors vote against him, and he is reduced to a duke! All is not lost however. Torolchi is an old man, Kingship is just a matter of time! My first official meeting with Bidia goes.... poorly. But we smooth things out thanks to the brain chip. He's a fighter, and I need one of those right now! Time and the short lifespans of these Simians soon solves one problem. Right! We're back on track! We need to move towards sorting this whole succession thing! That's a good amount more land. Time to reunite the kingdoms! We march into their territory. Bidia is already gaining a reputation. Which I hope will be well deserved! Someone else is trying to grab Khakassia! At least it is distracting their armies. We take their capital and something for our rather bare throne room. Bidia is a really good commander! Victory is quickly ours. That was a minor setback. Your highness knows there is only one way to solve these problems! Yours, Grey Hunter.

Have loved the thread, watching our Croctapus fail & stumble. Attempt to make something out of nothing really was one of the things that finally told me to stop lurking & just make an account, really excited to see more as always, definitely was not expecting Bidia to kill his own dad. Also love how seamlessly you worked the new Dlc & features into the Lp without much comment at all, didn't question it, felt right.

From - Lord Admiral Grey Hunter, To - Her Royal Highness, Empress of the Croctapus Empire. It seems one of the vassals is plotting something. I order a plot to murder him. Then it's time for a war! We enlist the help of an alcoholic. I am left wondering if this is the best we can do! She's certainly not discrete! Our forces smash the enemy army. I even feel confident enough to order men to stay besieging the target province. A poisonous spider seems a little dramatic. You cannot argue with the results however! The faction just changes figureheads however. The war sees is second battle this one even more one-sided. This brings the war to a satisfactory end. HE SPENT 500 GOLD ON WHAT? Apparently I need to take over tighter controls of the purse strings, Osar is spending so much money! The long expected civil war begins. The very next day we kill their pretender but they just up and select someone new. We see a massive battle very early on in the war before we are even able to finish massing our forces! We are able to get the second army in before the first is destroyed. In what may be the most brutal battle we have seen so far, we are victorious, but the losses for both sides are high. Another soon to be failed crusade is launched. And a son comes of age. The enemies allies are mustering, and this looks like it could be another bloody one! It's to late for us to avoid them. One of the son's is captured. And the day turns against us. We replenish our forces, and our allies arrive on the field. We go in for the third epic battle in this most bloody of wars. This one turns out to be more onesided. We chase their forces north. And smash them in another battle. Victory is ours! The losers are stripped of their claims. To try and cut down on the successions wars, the electors for one of the kingdoms are dissolved. We can win the election for Khakassia, so we rule that is the only one that counts. Maybe now we can get back to expanding! Yours. Grey Hunter. [i]sorry this is late and short I'm currently having to steal computer time as my folks are down and the lad is in the room where my computer now lives, and a load of my screenshots didn't capture the active window nothing important was lost, but this did end up shorter than normal! From - Lord Admiral Grey Hunter, To - Her Royal Highness, Empress of the Croctapus Empire. The other Albionic factions, the Albion and Mongolia have allied with each other. We look south though this may be a major war for a single province. We quickly conquer and march south. But the Mongol-Albion alliance shatters, and we are called in on the side of the smaller Albion. We can't afford to let Mongolia get any bigger! Another son has been born. But he doesn't seem to be destined to live long. We're here to weaken the Mongolians, so we besiege their lands rather than engage their armies. The loot and the ransoms quickly come in. we are definitely making a profit on this war! We can afford to spend some on a book. Then I notice the army of the Kereyids to the north I'd forgotten them. We continue looting and dispatch an army north! We're not going near that, we're in a much better place. The Kereyid's prove troublesome to pin down. The fancy book is ready. It's added to the very fancy throne room. Almost all of this has been looted during the war. Another son is lost. Though it looks like we lost part of him earlier! Ha ha ha! The battle he falls in ends the war and we take the new province. The capital is expanded fresh water for my bath and power for the humans! The war in the east grinds on. For that much money I would sell every Pendragon on the planet, let alone a singe province! The Albion troops have decided to join us. The war ends soon, inconclusive for everyone by us, as I roll around in piles of ill gotten gains. It's time to update the imperial cartographers and sites for the drop troops I suggest landing a contingent in the ever growing Byzantine empire, as nothing on this planet seems to be slowing their growth. The last Catholics in the old empire make a last attempt to stop their persicution. They have a good sized army, but I doubt it will be enough. Yeah, this is not going to go well for them and to think a hundred years ago they were the ones putting down other religious rebellions. Not one Christian leaves the field of Songuu Aallar alive. They ar ebrave however, fighting to the last man in the name of their god. Though this is a little ironic. It's enough to convince this guy to join us. Annoyingly, a new nation called Xia has sprung up to the south, and now worries our pretty borders. Problems for later of course, the long expected troops would find no issues here, would they, your highness. Of course, you have not forgotten about me, not matter how much it feels that you have. Yours as always Grey Hunter.
