Anyone remember Arc Raiders? It was announced as a co-op TPS with an emphasis on emergent physics combat against giant robots and had a pretty showy reveal a couple years back. Welp, it's an extraction shooter now, which seems like a bad idea but we'll see.

hmmm might get Lair of the Clockwork God, From Space, There is No Light, and Patch Quest from this, i'll just have to think of the last one. maybe tunche?

i can recommend Jack Move, Spookware, and Haven Park -- very different experiences of course (short JRPG, warioware, and tiny 'short hike'-style life sim, respectively)

Yes, but it’s early access. I like Starship Troopers enough though that I might buy it anyways depending on reviews.

Is that the RTS? I feel like there’s multiple in development and I’ve lost track.

E: Oh the big-ish horde shooter. Would be cool if that works and lives for more than a month, 16 random people is a big ask for a nobody indie game.

Yeah I liked it quite a lot but it was a little barebones. It did a lot with what it had though.

An FPS, idk. Even in the movies the troopers shot the bugs by just holding down the trigger til they finally fell over. I can't imagine that it's going to be a super punchy feeling shooter.

E. Looked up a trailer and sign me up for the psychic corps because I was right. Video of players magdumping into every single bug while backing up and trying to circle strafe. It seems like the defensive building part of the game is going to be what carries it. Also someone call Bungie because their ODST troops broke containment and are spreading to other games.

Bushiden was supposed to come out last year and since then it's been radio silence

Of course its real, Milo didn't do his homework, which is very realistic for a virtual boy trapped inside a computer.

Also Molyneux literally points out a scene and says it wasn't acted, what more proof do you want?

I've been playing a lot of Nordic Ashes lately. It's an auto-shooter (as everything seems to be these days), but unlike Vampire Survivors, it has character skill trees reminiscent of Skyrim which allow you to plan out your build each run.
The grind for all the different costumes is a little annoying, but the character art is so nice that it's worth it.
Also the shopkeeper, Gnöki, is adorable.

The first Hawken was fun with a really great aesthetic but then they just kind of...never updated it meaningfully and dropped it after a few months as I recall. From what I've heard of the new one, it's a straight up terrible game trying to capitalize on a mostly-forgotten IP that nobody asked for. Wouldn't be surprised if it's just canned, all told.

Probably the first survival game I could see myself playing after it leaves EA because the combat actually seems pretty good. Does it have any sort of story/end goal or is it pure sandbox?
