(I've only sparsely paid attention to hockey since 2019). he had very little athleticism to go around when he came up and was 22-25, was pretty much all really great instincts + hockey sense + skill. once he hit like 28 and lost even the little bit he had, it's been hard for him. good to see him learn to become a good faceoff guy and still contribute a little bit on the penalty kill and possession-wise at 5v5.
