I imagine it depends on the type of intelligence. I get the impression that social intelligence is a completely different kind of thing than "using tools" intelligence.

Felix has some strengths in talking about Games, but with more old or esoteric videogames or for deeper intricacies he's not very good. He can gush about Tony Hawk or MGS, but if someone sits next to him to tell him how those games were built or how what lead to their development, he starts spinning wheels.

I'd say that for someone like Josh Sawyer, it should have been someone like Matt, who'd be more familiar with the kind of stuff Pentiment talks about and doesn't have someone with expectations of what games should be or not should be to bounce words with. Unless of course there was a conversation before recording and Josh was like "I'd be happy to talk with Felix for this episode!", which would make it more understandable.
