 Sinfest Sunday - Buckle up folks, this is a rough one. Tats starts the week adding (male) migrants to his list of people he hates enough to depict them as brainless zombies. From there it's a mixture of 'FED!' jokes and using pop culture for his transphobia (he finally acknowledges trans men, but only in the context of 'They're poor helpless women who just can't handle the patriarchy and are being taken advantage of'. Then on Thursday he hears that conservatives are upset that they can't jerk off to the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue, and automaticlaly jumps to the conclusion that they must have featured a trans woman. And then... remember the multiple storylines of 'Slick goes to hell for looking at porn'? Well now that Satan is evil, there's a special hell for people who aren't attracted to trans women. The report found nothing, resulted in no convictions, and the strongest language it could muster was something to the effect of 'well *I* wouldn't have launched an investigation based on that evidence!' Nevertheless, the entirety of right wing media has taken it as 100% confirmation of their priors, even or especially stuff that was actually contradicted by the report like the Steele dossier being the basis of the investigation.

The really big irony is that IDW's Transformers comics made Arcee a trans woman like a long while back; the original main writer was a guy with an ant up his pant at the idea of there being female transformers (which also ended up inadvertently paving the way for a later writer to go "hey if they're all dudes then it would be actually normal for them to be gay") and gave her a gritty backstory of her being forcefully made female by a mad scientist who wanted to introduce gender to the species, and later writers went  and had to do damage control (mixed in with Hasbro wanting them to introduce more female transformers), being able to retcon it into something she consented to

TERFs are there and their ironic punishment is having to be around trans women which implies transphobia was their sin. Also trans people's souls apparently get sentenced as the gender they identify as, not the gender they were assigned at birth, so in life they really are female souls trapped in a male body (or vice versa) then.
