they have good things in them (visuals basically) but their stories are very very dumb and bad. and they are extremely Male Director movies titane I just didn't get it but I guess it was fine. maybe transphobic idk its too hard to tell

Neon Demon rules but it is a style over substance kinda movie. Its just got so much drat style that i cant not love it Only God Forgives fuckin sucked tho Drive im kinda ambivalent towards. I think it works and is a great looking movie, but i dont recall anything about the actual plot beyond the fact that baby goose is a getaway driver

if anyone likes Refn ( I do) don’t sleep on his 6-part movie/show called Too Old to Die Young. it’s on Amazon. it’s pretty cspammy at times good movie to do a ton of drugs and watch in n out of a fugue state at 2am on a Saturday night

The boyfriend in Midsommar reminded me of a dime-store Chris Pratt and it took me out of the movie a little bit. Also he's in like his mid-20s, he doesn't need your Viagra fumes in order to gently caress.
